I’m back!
Amsterdam was just great! Though the weather could have been better, I saw a lot of the city (and the museums) and had a good time. And by the way, I met Dave! He asked me whether he was as weird as I had imagined. Yup, he is, but in a nice way, of course!
He also remarked I had a German accent, which he said was not noticeable here on my weblog. I would have guessed so…

Finally I’m back home, too. André returned yesterday, while I went to my parents directly from Amsterdam in order to be at the Konfirmation of a cousin in Hildesheim today.
Since it is pretty late, my Amsterdam stories will have to wait till tomorrow. Sorry, we don’t own a digital camera, so no photos will show up. However, once we get our pictures developed, I might scan some in. Or wasn’t there this cheap Photo CD (not the “real” one we did for our USA Journal) that offers low-resolution pictures for a few DM extra? I got to check that out.
Now I will go and catch up with all the other weblogs…
Ich bin wieder da!
Amsterdam war klasse! Obwohl das Wetter nicht sooo toll war, habe ich doch vieles angeschaut. Eine sehenswerte Stadt!
Und jetzt bin ich endlich auch wieder zu Hause. André war schon gestern wieder hier, während ich von Amsterdam aus direkt zu meinen Eltern gefahren bin, um heute an der Konfirmationsfeier meiner Cousine in Hildesheim teilzunehmen.
Weil es schon spät ist, müssen meine Amsterdam-Geschichten bis morgen warten. Leider besitzen wir keine Digitalkamera, so daß ich nicht mit Fotos aufwarten kann – es sei denn, ich kann ein paar einscannen, nachdem sie entwickelt sind. Oder… gab es da nicht diese Billig-Photo-CD (nicht die “echte”, auf die wir die Fotos für unser USA-Reisetagebuch brennen lassen haben), die man für ein paar Mark extra bei der Entwicklung mitbestellen kann und die Bilder in niedriger, aber für’s Web ausreichender Auflösung bietet? Ich muß mich mal informieren…
Und jetzt gehe ich mal bei den anderen Weblogs gucken, was da in den letzten Tagen so los war…
