Did I mention that I love all the poppies that are growing in our yard? ;-)

These poppies have flowers that remind me of peonies. We have these pink ones as well as bright red ones.

… but our garden is green and in bloom nevertheless.

Cotton Thistles (Onopordum acanthium) are biennial. They grow very tall in their second year. These are in our back yard and are about 2 metres tall.
