Autumn
It’s the first day of October, and it feels like somebody flipped a switch today. Up to yesterday, the weather was sunny, and today it started to rain. It’s windy and generally not very pleasant outside. Unfortunately, I had to run some errands in town, and it was no fun running around with an umbrella all the time and getting cold feet.

However, the weather has its advantages as well: I feel more inclined to do school work and start preparing for my big exam. And it’s always nice to snuggle up on the sofa with a good book and a nice cup of tea in weather like this. My favourite is Earl Grey, hot.

While in town today, I noticed that there’s now a Subway in Bonn. I don’t normally eat fast food like burgers and chips (french fries), but I like Subway sandwiches. I didn’t even know they had any shops in Germany, but there already are 59.

Going to the movies is also something that I do more often when it’s cold and gets dark early in the day. So of course I have to mention that the trailer for The Return of the King is now available! AndrĂ© and I are going to watch it as soon as it is released in December. Maybe there are still tickets for the first week?
