M.C. Escher

Oh, I totally forgot: I meant to link to this yesterday…

Oliver created a QuickTime VR of one of Escher’s graphics. It is here. And for comparison, take a look at Escher’s grahpic here.

Biking im Schwabenländle

In case you missed it: I posted the photos from my trip to Heilbronn yesterday.

Kölner Dom

Last night, André and I went to see a movie in Cologne. On our way back to the train station, we passed the cathedral. It looked quite impressive at night, being illuminated by floodlights.

The first two pictures show the entrance on the left of the cathedral (opposite the train station), the third is the upper part of the main entrance, and the last, of course, the towers. As you can see, one of the towers is being renovated at the moment.

Kino

Around Heilbronn

Finally – here are the photos! (There are 18 pictures, so prepare for some loading time…)

Sorry for the lack of real updates. I spent some time reading blogs last night and today, but didn’t really have time. Glad to hear you folks over in Washington and Oregon are doing okay after the earthquake.

More updates, tomorrow… hopefully. I still have a lot of work to do, but it will soon be over.

Back home!

Hey folks, I’m back! As Garret guessed, I was busy with my thesis, but I got the main work done until Tuesday and went on a three-day vacation from Wednesday until today. I visited Imke – photos soon to come!

Now I’m wonderfully relaxed and can get the rest of the work done. The thesis is due on March 19.
