In the Czech pavilion, I took photos of the Well of Knowledge! There was a sign that I hadn’t seen last time, and it said:
“Gravity Mixer – an installation which symbolizes the infinity of human knowledge. It is made up of approximately 32,000 loosely laid books.”
Yes, that’s me in the mirror in the upper right photo…
On my way, I took photos of interesting-looking pavilions. Here are Yemen and the United Arab Emirates (which we visited last time).
Here’s the pavilion of Romania. Its wall consists of ivy, I think, so they are green and kind of translucent. Inside, the light and the atmosphere are special.
This is Genesis, by a Romanian artist. I think the little figures are just cute!
