Happy Birthday, Craig!

Und das war das

I finished the thesis. Just took it to the copyshop to have it bound, and I’ll hand it in tomorrow. On my to do list for the rest of today: Prepare lessons, grade tests, go shopping, cook dinner, read a book and relax!

Oh yeah, and the exam on Friday went okay, and my cold is almost gone, too. And the sun is shining today!

Jugend forscht

Am Wochenende fand der Bundeswettbewerb Jugend forscht statt. Von meiner Schule hat eine Schülergruppe im Bereich Physik den zweiten Platz belegt. (Der erste Preis ging an einen Schüler, der für 30 € ein Rastertunnelmikroskop gebaut hat.) Und ein ehemaliger Schüler hat für seine interdisziplinäre Arbeit einen Geldpreis gewonnen.

Und nächste Woche beginnen wir mit den Vorbereitungen für die nächste Runde…
