Finally!

Summer’s here! On the last day of July, finally the weatherforecast was right. We have sunny weather, almost no clouds, and 25°C (about 78 F). It’s wonderful outside! Now let’s hope it stays this way for a while…

I’m out on my bike! Sonne:

Have a nice vacation, Sheila – and Brent, I suppose. Hope you enjoy your week off!

Huh?!

Do you read Jeff’s Weblog? Are you a member of his site?

I am, and he really got me with his headline. It says: “Andrea Frick’s Weblog”, at least for me.

I wonder how long it has been this way without me noticing it…

…he really got me with his headline.

    Muhahaha!

You’re the second person to note this. Steven Vore caught it first. I had to point it out to Jake. Of course I think it’s funny…

It’s just a macro that checks to see if you’re a member and if you are then it "personalizes" my page for you.

  8. Andrea Frick

Yeah, of course it’s funny, and it was not difficult to guess how you do it. Of course it has to be a macro – many other Manila sites use this one.

It just made me think that maybe you had already used the macro for a long time without me noticing it. I thought, whoa, he’s been making fun of me (and all his members) all the time and I was too blind to even see it!

I added the custom title about a week ago.

I’m laughing with you, not at you.

I think we’re all victims of ignoring our environment at times. We get used to our routine and stop noticing the details. Fortunately this snake-in-the-grass doesn’t bite…

Oh, I was sure about that!

Yup. I changed my tag line a while ago (Have you noticed? clown: ) and thought nobody would notice since it doesn’t look very different, and it’s small. However, Susan found out the very same day. Impressive!

I don’t look at the parts of people’s weblogs that normally don’t change daily, including your header and my own navigation bar on the left. I guess it would take some time for me to find out that somebody has manipulated it…
